Neurologists, by definition, evaluate patients who have problems and/or pain related to the brain and nervous system. Many patients have headaches, back and neck pain, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's Disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer's Disease, as well as other brain or nerve-related problems such as a stroke or neuropathy.

Dr. Gary L. Miller has been in the practice of Neurology since 1979. He has worked to create an office environment that gives you personalized care for these neurologic conditions in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. In the on-site facilities, he performs nerve conduction studies (EMGs) and occipital nerve blocks for certain headache conditions. Lumbar punctures, myelograms, EEG’s, cisternograms and evoked potential studies are done at Metropolitan Hospital.

Additionally, Dr. Miller is one of the few physicians in West Michigan with the on-site equipment and extensive training to program VNS (vagus nerve stimulators) and DBS (deep brain stimulators).
